making a personal observationPosted: September 9, 2005
Almost everyone I’ve talked to says we’re going to move to Houston. What I’m hearing which is sort of scary is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this–this is working very well for them.
So according to Scott McClellan, White House press secretary, the above personal observation, made by Barbara Bush, wife of George W. Bush’s father, and former president of the US of A, George H.W. Bush, was little more than “a personal observation”. Thanks for clarifying that Scott.
Here’s a personal observation of my own; while these were the thoughtless, cynical comments of somebody who lives a life far removed from most of us, it is certainly not at all surprising to hear them from a member of the Bush family.
If there isn’t a hell we will surely need to create one in order to accomodate Barbara, her family, their cohorts (El Diablo Rumsfeld, Cheney, Perle, Wolfowitz), the good people at the Carlyle group, the PNAC, all the Neocons, Rupert Murdoch and all the good people at FOX… Thankfully the list is not endless.
